TikTok, is now emerging as an important home buying tool for a whole new generation of homebuyers.

The pandemic kicked into full swing as many Millennials were beginning to enter into homeownership. Remote work, lockdowns and isolation left many people in front of technology more than ever before. It also caused many realtors, mortgage lenders and home advisors to adapt with the times. Many begin showing properties online to meet the needs of buyers while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

The reported average age for a first-time homebuyer is 32 and about one-third of TikTok users are 30 and older. Nearly 80% of Millennials reported they would buy a home without ever stepping foot in it!This has helped in launching TikTok's home search popularity.

Homebuyers are using TikTok to tour homes and gain real estate-related advice and education without having to read through lines of information.
