I replaced my old Craftsman 3.5 hp vac with this 6.5 hp beast. I bought my old one used at a yard sale over 15 years ago and it finally started to die… The old one was good but kind of loud this one is actually quieter and has a lot more suction.

I have it hooked up to a Vortex separator which removes over 99% of the material before it even gets to the Craftsman. I built a large woodcarving CNC machine that I designed so I produce a heck of a lot of sawdust and this sucker makes it disappear! The 2.5-inch hose is so much better than the skinny hoses that many others have and that is really important to me.

My much better half tried out it on the carpet with the hardwood floor attachment and she couldn’t get it to budge because of the great suction of this vac and using the wrong attachment.
